At Gimnorte, colors are more than what you see — they are what you feel, live, and share. Behind every yellow, red, or blue shirt lies a story of identity, teamwork, and personal growth.
Our House System is one of thosetraditions that defines who we are: a community that learns, celebrates, and transforms together.
A tradition that connects generations
Inspired by the British school model, the CBC House System brings together students, teachers, and staff into three lifelong families. From their very first day in Preschool to their graduation, each student belongs to one House — a space that nurtures friendship, leadership, and a sense of belonging that lasts for years.
At Gimnorte, the Houses are much more than teams or symbols. They are living spaces where empathy is practised, leadership is learned, and collaboration becomes second nature. Competing doesn’t mean defeating others — it means growing together. It’s about celebrating shared achievements and valuing both individual effort and collective success.
Values that prepare for life
Each House represents a spirit and a unique way of learning from the world. House Audax embodies the attributes of boldness, courage, and gallantry; House Fortis represents the qualities of strength, vigor, and resilience, inspiring active wisdom; House Elatus reflects the attributes of confidence, self-esteem, and dignity; and House Iustus stands for fairness, egalitarianism, and righteousness.
But beyond their differences, all share a single core: communication.
One community, one shared purpose
At CBC, the House System strengthens wellbeing, belonging, and holistic development.
It reminds us that preparing for the world means building strong, compassionate communities.
Because here, colors may set us apart — but values bring us together.
And that sense of unity, that invisible energy shared among Houses, is what makes us grow. Together.
