Gimnasio del Norte officially inaugurated its Student Government for the 2026-2027 academic year
Gimnasio del Norte held the official inauguration of its Student Government for the 2026-2027 academic year, a meaningful moment for our school community in which the Student Representative and Student Comptroller formally took office. The ceremony reaffirmed the school’s commitment to participation, leadership, and the development of students who are prepared to make a positive contribution to their community.
Leadership and participation at school
The inauguration of the Student Government represents much more than the beginning of a new term of student representation. It provides students with an opportunity to experience firsthand the importance of participation, responsibility, dialogue, and working together toward shared goals.
During the event, the student representative, Luis Ernesto Orozco, and the school auditor, María Mónica Gómez, were officially sworn in. They took up their roles for the 2026–2027 academic year and pledged to represent their fellow students with responsibility, respect and a sense of community.
This special occasion also recognized the participation process experienced by our students, who had the opportunity to become actively involved in school life and understand how their ideas, proposals, and actions can contribute to the wellbeing of the entire community.

The inauguration of the Gimnasio del Norte Student Government 2026-2027 marks the beginning of a new chapter in student participation, where dialogue, respect, collaboration, and commitment will play an essential role in continuing to build a community in which every voice matters.
